Bloggers demand payment of transformer allowance- Read why

NCC - Thursday, June 25, 2015

Bloggers have taken to the street to protest the non-payment of their transformer allowance. According to our correspondent, Professor Cletus, the bloggers argued that every blogger should have a personal transformer  installed in their place of residence  or its money equivalent paid to them in order to stay immune to power failure. Mathew Johnpaul, an upcoming blogger expressed his frustration with what he described as "power kwashiokor"  which has characterized the power sector. He posited that every blogger should have fixed allowance to cushion the effect of the epileptic power supply which has plunged all bloggers into darkness forcing some of them to buy UPS for their laptops.
He said, " some of us are yet to update our blogs for more than a month. We appeal to the new administration and the senate to move the motion of providing transformer allowances to all the bloggers in the country. I tried to update my blog with a news about how a grandmother trekked from Otuoke to Daura to congratulate the new leader but NEPA took light"
Another angry blogger expressed dissatisfaction and complained that his alexa rank has fallen like his grandma's breast and urged the FG to intervene and fulfill their campaign promises of providing 500 KVA transformers to all the bloggers and wondered why every blogger shouldn't beat Linda Ikeji if equipped with the necessary tools.
