Facebook: New app that turns text into a pop song

Following Facebook’s announcement that its messenger service will be open to third party developers at the F8 developer’s conference on Wednesday 25th March, an app that turns texts to a pop song has been launched to run on the Facebook messenger platform.
Zya Ditty is the new app on the block. It is a text-to-autotune generator that lets you compose up to a 70-character message, pick a background song from among several popular, recognizable tunes.
After picking the song, Ditty puts together a music clip and video to accompany your song. Developers say the music video will be a 20 seconds text based music video collated for listeners to have fun.
Developers of the app say it will be available for free in the iOS App Store and Google Play store later today.
The essence of Ditty is to create an avenue to have fun and enjoy music; a representative of Ditty told journalists during their media briefing.
